About Rick's Automotive
Rick Olsen, Owner, in business since 1995.
NAPA AUTOPRO member since 2014.
Rick Olsen graduated with Diesel and Heavy Duty Mechanics from the state of Utah in 1989. He moved back to Canada and completed his mechanics license in 1991. Rick then went on to purchase his shop in 1995. He has always been hard-working and believes in being efficient and honest. Rick grew up in Waterton, AB and spent a lot of time helping around their family horse ranch. He is the oldest of 7 and loves being around family. Having Rick in Cardston has been an enormous asset as he continues to help locals and travellers who are having car troubles in the area. Rick is always looking to improve and stay up with the newest technology to help all his current and future clients.

Check engine light
There are generally two reactions to an illuminated check engine light: people panic or just hope it goes away. Understandable but wrong. It could come on for anything from a serious engine or transmission problem to a loose gas cap. Best advice? See your NAPA AUTOPRO expert.
Suspension
If your vehicle bottoms out when accelerating or slumps forward when stopping; if the steering and handling feel loose; or if you’re noticing premature tire wear, your suspension probably needs maintenance.
Transmission
If you hear noises when the transmission shifts gears, smell burning, have trouble changing gears, or see red fluid leaking from under your car, a transmission inspection is needed immediately.
Car battery
Getting your battery checked and replaced with a battery that meets your vehicle’s specifications, CCA requirement and driving conditions will ensure years of trouble-free cranking.
Air conditioning

Wheel bearings
